The massive amount of billboards can't be wrong.
When in Boonville, do as the Boonvillers do.
    Isle of Capri, baby.

Actually, I've found it's pronounced "Ell-inois" by a lot of the natives. Don't know why.

I lived in Cincinnati for six years and I never heard anyone pronounce it that way.

Regardless of how you pronounce it, Missouri is an old Indian word that means "Place Where Iowans Go to Buy Fireworks"

It's Missouri... pronounced Missoureeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. No exceptions, not even one. It's not spaghettah. It's not Mississippah.

It's Missouri. End of discussion, end of thread, case closed, case dismissed, that's all folks, turn out the lights the party's over, manlaw, my law, THE law, period.

It doesn't matter. My flag only has 49 stars because I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I recognize Missourah.

And what is with people pronouncing Arkansas like it's Arkansaw?

When I was down there they called it Missipee. That was after my flight was rerouted to Jackson instead of Nawlins, Leesianna.

They're obviously a bunch of uneducated hillbilly hicks from the south.

Anyone with half a brain knows it's pronounced MISS - ZOUR' - REE

Only a backwoods redneck would pronounce it any other way.

Any you're right: Where the fuck did there so-called newscasters get their degrees? A box of Cheerios?
