    Stockmans?
Now THAT place is trash with a capital T.
Now the Union Club and the Old Post aren't bad...but Stockman's is ugly!

Stockman's rules! Iron Horse and the Old Post are aright, but Stockman's is by far the best . . . if only for the cowboys.

Stockman's ... liquor in the front, poker in the rear. Jeebus, I'll never forget the time I drank until 3:30 a.m. in Missoula and had to get up at 4 a.m. for a flight back to Phoenix. Good times. At least until I nearly puked on the flight from MSO to SLC.

There's a bar there with better burgers than Booches, I'm told. If you know what I'm talkin' about, then you know what I'm talkin' about. Mmm, Booches.

I guess some writers with 5 years of experience will go after this, but I don't think it's necessary. Maybe that's out there to disuade the young hacks.

Oh, it's necessary. If they were OK with somebody with less experience getting this job, they've got an excellent kid on staff who's done some columns. They want somebody with experience. Rial was an APSE winning columnist, not some schmuck off the street.

I did some freelance work for Bob a few years ago and was very good to work with.
