    I dated someone who was in Miss Texas.

    I have never respected pageant people ever since.

    I have a good friend who was Miss Mississippi (USA), and I wouldn't trade her for anything. She comes from a pageant family but entered only a couple before winning the state title.

    The horror stories she's told me from preps for Miss USA, though. Wow.
