How to we know the other team didn't start taunting? Can't hear anything on the video.
And his home-run trot didn't look "slow."

Until 0:21, when he turns around in mid-home-run-trot just short of 3B to wave his arms and jaw at the opponents. That should have been lighting-instantaneous ejection right there.

Earlier at 0:13, he points his finger, apparently at the pitcher, but continues his HR trot. Jawing between batter and pitcher goes on all the time, of course. But when they break out of their HR trot to get in the opponents' faces the umpire has to pull the ejection handle.

What the other team may have been saying was the umpires' problem to figure out, but they didn't abandon their positions to fight until the hitter decided to break out of his HR trot to throw down.

Was that the pitcher who came over between second and third and started getting into it with the batter? It seems he's just as much to blame. Don't put it all on the batter. Again, you can't hear what was being said so all were doing is speculating.

Actually, it looked like he was pointing at and jawing at the catcher (or maybe the pitcher) before he even got to second.
