(Minnesota) Wild thing

The rest of you start thinking up a name for this funky mascot. I dunno, something along the line of say...Nordy, only more proactive.

Help! It's the Hair Bear Bunch!

 

I have no idea what possessed the Wild to do this. I already have two Minnesota Wild beanie bears - and they LOOK like bears.

I don't need to purchase a third, uh, whatever it is.

DH, I forgot all about that cartoon, and it's eerie how much the new mascot resembles the Hair Bears.

And I still say the Wild logo resembles a panther.

Thank goodness Rosie voiced her lack of approval. Now I can echo my WTF moment without being sent to my room. ;D

If it makes the Wild fans feel any better, when the Whalercanes debuted Stormy a decade ago, they found him passed out in the Zamboni. Nice beginning.

 

It's all in the timing, Slap. Sometimes your subtle approach fits, sometimes you have to go direct as I did.
