Minneapolis suggestions

Sorry if this is the tipping point of travel help sought threads, but heading to Minneapolis in a few weeks for a long weekend and wanting to get any suggestions for dining/attractions there. Been about 20 years since we've been there.

My wife and I, plus our 15-year-old and 12-year-old. Going to hit the Mall of America (kill me now), plus a Twins game or two, probably the Zoo, likely grab a Juicy Lucy at The Nook (looked good on the Food Network, at least).

Any duds there or things we should definitely add to the list?

    Appreciate any advice.

But you can go over to Viking WHQ and get a picture of the Viking ship:

Red McCombs (Purple Pride!) era picture. It's all spiffy now.

Any suggestions I might have about strip clubs would be unwelcome, I suppose.

It's been a while since I've been there, but if your kids like music at all (or even if they don't!), take 'em here:

A great, great record store: http://www.electricfetus.com

I need to get back to Minneapolis for a Twins game ... or even better, a Gophers football game at their new stadium.

Preferably when Iowa is pushing them all over the field (hi, Machine Head! :D)

    Colossal Cafe (breakfast)

    Downtown is underrated for nightlife.

    Fun city.

The zoo there is a good one by Midwest standards. The Mall of America isn't as bad as you would think. Nickelodeon Universe is fun for kids, depending on how old yours are. There is a waterpark right next to the mall that is quite good, and very kid-friendly.
