    I think the Packers, one of the NFL's premier teams, do make Green Bay a "career-destination city." Maybe that's just me, but it's the the beat that makes it a career destination.

    I agree, and I'm a fairly young guy. Sure, thing could change in the long term, but I'd work for free the first six months if I could nab that spot.

    True. But I don't believe any of them were in their early 20s when they started covering the team, either.

    Two of them were 2-3 years out of school when they started on the beat. One was in his late 20s. Not positive on the other two.
