So apparently Lions fans have to wait until the old coot kicks off.

And quite ironically, it was Ford Jr. who was the main mover in bringing Millen IN.

Well, all can be forgiven if he escorts him out...

But at least he has the sense to ship him out.

It's amazing that family can even put a car on the road.

I get the sense he's resorting to new tactics to try to get rid of the clown.

    Best. Lead. Ever.

    From the Freep's Drew Sharp:

SAN FRANCISCO – Matt Millen was speechless when a reporter approached him at halftime.
    He never sounded more intelligent.

Teaching players how to tackle properly was always the first step to recovery, I thought.

    They haven't managed that, yet.

    For Drew, that's pretty good...

Well, he's the only other official that is higher ranking than Matt Millen, who has aged terribly.

The Freep ran a pic of him last week, he looked like Old Man Winter. White beard, and carrying about 30 extra pounds.

Anyway, here is to hoping the father takes the sons advice.

I love my Ford Escape, but yeah, Junior should focus on his own problems. I imagine Millen has offered to step down a few times already, I don't know what they're doing wrong, but no GM should get to hire three coaches unless he's George Halas.
I'd imagine the Lions gig might be a pretty attractive job. You've got tradition, a relatively weak division, a PATIENT owner, and a lot of young talent. Do they just not pay their coaching staffs? When your glory years feature Wayne Fontes, there is a problem.

I think the biggest obstacle to hiring a good GM is that he'd have to live in Detroit.
