Mike's is that drink for people who don't really want a hard drink. No pun intended.

 

I thought this thread was going to be about the guy at the Tigers game who gave his kid a Mike's and got into a world of shit.

 

I can drink one and enjoy it, but after that I'll need a real beer or cocktail. The same goes for a lot of the novelty (for lack of a better word) beers, such as Honey Brown and the various seasonal beers that Sam Adams and Pete's Wicked Ale produce.

 

How about a celebrity death match between Mike's Hard Lemonade and Zima

 

An interior-design competition, I think, holds more potential here.

 

As to the original post, considering the attitude toward their product espoused here, it certainly makes sense for them to try to make it seem cooler and more manly. Men drink most of the booze, so they have to try to court us, even if the more sophisticated among us know better.

 

I love Mike's. Especially the Berry flavor ones.
