He won a Pick Six. It's a bet at a horse track.

NDJournalist's parents lost the genetic lottery.

How all those chromosomes can all come up on the bad side of the coin is a mathematical and medical marvel.

Anyone who knows anything about Mike Tice knows horse racing runs deep in his veins. He's a long-time horse owner, and was among the original investors in Emerald Downs near Seattle. Pretty sure this isn't the first pick-6 he's hit, although it might be the largest. Not even close to hitting the lottery for him.

    Del Mar?

Hope he spent some of that cash afterward on surf and turf.

I saw Mike Tice and Pick-Six and thought Mark Sanchez just threw another pass.

Just as Mike Tice was about to collect, Nate Poole jumped in front of him, grabbed his ticket, and denied him the playoffs payout.

Guess that's why he didn't die the next day.

But he encountered 10,000 spoons, when all he needed was a knife.
