    When Canseco signed with someone (Blue Jays?) in the late '90s/early 2000s, and it was said one clause called for a bonus for going into the Hall with their hat on his plaque.

    Guys have such a need to get stroked that they have to resort to ripping Vin Scully? That just shows who Piazza really is. The greater public need to just ignore people like Piazza because they spout such narcissistic drivel.

    To be fair, he did come up huge when the city really needed it the most after 9/11. That's something they'll always remember.

    It was definitely Canseco when he signed with the Devil Rays in 1999. I remember reading it in the story of his signing.
