Apparently, a local newcast got Punk'd, when they did a man on the street interview with Mike Litoris.

I couldn't get the video to work.

It appears that the video in question has been pulled. All I got was a Monster.com commercial. :(

I'd have preferred a commercial for Pinkley Motors, home of the Pinkley Taurus.

Not nearly as funny, but yesterday the Toronto Star ran quotes from readers on the Zidane/Materazzi situation. The first reader to be quoted was Jules Winnfield from Los Angeles.

In these cases, what do you think the percentage is of actual person making up name vs. lazy writers making up quotes?

Some years back a guy used to send letters to the Toronto papers signed Bob Loblaw. Somebody finally figured it out and they did a story on the guy.
