Some hockey types might be interested. He's going to "pursue other career opportunities" and leaves the Panthers.

Good work, SF. You scooped the puckheads. :)

Well, I guess Mike wasn't getting to run things entirely his way so he took his toys and went home.

I'm sure the sordid details will come out.

Fuck Mike Keenan. Why he keeps getting coaching/GM jobs, I'll never know. He's got one Stanley Cup on his resume, but he can thank Mark Messier for it since he did fuck all to earn it himself.

The Larry Brown of the NHL. What a joke.

I'm sure this will be on page 7 of every 8-page sports section in the US tomorrow, outside of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Might even get 75 words in Tahoe.

I've said it before about Mike Keenan and I'll say it again: The game has passed that man by.
The game is so far beyond him, he needs a clairvoyant to find what universe it's in now.

Sorta like NCAA football in the rest of the world.

He'll surface in somewhere like Columbus.

Just as long as he doesn't land in Philly. The Flyers have enough issues, dammit!

Keep him the hell out of Pittsburgh, that's all.

    You can say that again.
