Mike Florio's hissy fit

Florio lost his credibility with me when he reported Harbaugh had been traded to the Browns, a 49er beat writer denied it, Florio pitched a fit and called said beat writer a fool, only to have Jed York tweet out emphatically that the report was false.

"Regardless of what any players or fans think of the media, the media has a job to do, just like everyone else."

As far as I can tell, nobody stopped Florio from doing his job. He just didn't do it very well.

I like Florio and I've enjoyed his site over the years...

He does not have any credibility as a reporter. He never has.

Before it was purchased by NBC, PFT was a good rumor/league gossip site. There was a lot of good stuff there and a ton of bad stuff. It had an edge to it and it was a fun read, especially if you covered the NFL.

People started treating it as more than that. When NBC bought it, the edge was gone.

Eh. York later backtracked his comments after Haslam and the Browns confirmed that there had been talks.

Also, Florio's credibility was gone years before that.

Calcaterra is a bigger troll than Florio.

Wrong again, JC. You do make a habit of it.

    Speaking of trolls. Hello LTL!

Yes, taking potshots at posters behind their backs is just hysterical. I had not even seen this thread, much less commented on it.

Plus, I do find humor in you posting something incorrect on a thread about Florio having to admit he was wrong.

I take that back- troll might be the wrong label for Florio and Calcaterra.
They both are click whores. Not especially funny or insightful, either.
    Here's an example from today:
