As a lifelong Lakers fan ... thank goodness.

Now, if Adam Silver can move as fast as he did on Donald Sterling and get rid of Jim Buss, things will be better in the purple and gold area.

Not the least bit surprised. And with Phil spoken for, hope the Lakers will move forward.

Doc Rivers to coach Lakers and bring Chris Paul with him, in the NBAs attempt to devalue the Clippers

I really can't blame D'Antoni. Maybe Steve Nash will hang it up, too.

This was a disaster from the beginning but no coach was winning with that roster and next year won't be any different.

    Probably shouldn't go there

Yeah, but that first game against the Bucks was sweet. So much adrenaline that night. They beat the shit out of the Bucks. At least for the first half. IIRC, and I was in the back of a Greyhound bus listening on the radio, the Bucks made a game of it in the second half, somewhat.

    What's the deal with this?

Even if you think it's the right move, it seems sort of classless to be celebrating. Is it personal?

Seems especially odd, given that Magic is trying to portray himself as an "elder statesman" and the logical next owner of the Clippers.

  11. Magic also got Paul Westhead canned... So ...

To be fair to D'Antoni, he never had the chance to coach the team he was hired to coach.
