How many players do you think are not going to sleep well tonight? Because there's no way that the government accepted a plea without Tejada naming names.

Palmeiro should get used to wearing stripes.

  3. This never would have happened when Dick Cheney was in charge.

  4. I'll still take him over Jed Lowrie.

  5. No way! Tejada is cooked. He had just 13 HR and an OPS of .729 last year despite playing half his games at the MinuteMaid bandbox (only 5 HR and a .701 OPS on the road). Lowrie had a .739 OPS last year and should get better now that he's been around a bit.

Besides - the Red Sox don't play players who have been tainted by steroids. Who do you think they are? The Yankees?

I guess I imagined Gabe Kapler playing for the Red Sox.

  7. My god, this post is like The Incredible Two Headed Transplant starring Theo Epstein and Boom.

  8. Gabe Kapler is the Jewish superman. Substitute baseball player was just his alter-ego Clark Kent-type day job.

Who? Miguel Tejada? Or Dick Cheney?

    I'm very confused.

Palmeiro and Clemens better be honing their spooning skills.

As for Kapler, I have my own thoughts regarding his Texas days that I'll keep to myself.
