No tour, but 5 shows, the return of their Hometown Throwdown, Christmas Week in Boston.
I have been waiting for this since they broke up.
    Any other fans here?

Wasn't a huge fan, but I respected them a lot. They were doing what they were doing years before that late-90s nightmare in which every band short of Rammstien tried to be "punk-ska."

That's the impression that I get.

    Wow.

    Great song, by the way.

Huge fan. I've got every album -- even the live album featured on the Web site, Live From The Middle East -- but missed my chance to see them every single time. And, from the looks of things, I won't be catching their shows in Cambridge, Mass., either. It's tough for me to commit to such a long trip.

No song of theirs is better than Toxic Toast, in my opinion.

I've never had to knock on wood for them to come back,
But I know someone who has
Which makes me wonder if i could
    It makes me wonder if
I've never had to knock on wood
    And I'm glad i haven't yet
Because I'm sure it isn't good

Wow. Haven't thought about the Bosstones in years. But they're a bit of the soundtrack to high school in Cambridge in the mid 90's. Good times.

The first time I saw them was on Clueless. They were the band at that party in the middle of the flick. I liked what I heard, so I bought the album, Let's Face It, listened to it once and put it away. Then, about a year later, I threw it in the player to give it another shot and fell in love with it. The lyrics, the vocals, the instrumentation, the laid-back vibe ... I dug everything. To this day, they're my second favorite ska band next to Less Than Jake. Great, great band.
