Accident or not, isn't this a guaranteed way to become the former CEO of the Richmond SPCA?

The SPCA board says they're standing by her. But there's 300+ comments on the RTD website, and they're not kind to Mrs. Starr. If these remarks are representative of public opinion around here, she should probably just fall on the sword.

According to the story, she didn't forget, she just didn't know the dog was in the car. Husband left the sleeping elderly dog there, and forgot to tell her when she took the car.

The good news is, in two years, she can work for the Philly SPCA.

Seriously, though, my car is full of shit, front, back, rear window, everywhere, but I think I'd recognize if there was a dog in my car.

Agreed. Just clarifying the story....the thread title is somewhat inaccurate.

It says the dog was blind, deaf and 16 years old, isn't that like 112 in dog years? That old hound might've been destined to keel over that day anyways. Either way, four hours in a hot car by accident is a far cry from Vick intentionally electrocuting and hanging dogs. She gets a pass from me.
