Advocating for the downtrodden must be very lucrative.

Oh, I remember this thread. And the one just like it before that one.

If Osama bin Laden knew what $2,000,000 would buy you in Michigan, he would have been pissed about being holed up in a multi-million dollar mansion in Abbottabad.

That swing set must be reenforced with steel beams to hold Moore.

Aw, come on! That's a $90,000 house in Michigan.

And yet, he's willing to pay more taxes for a better country.

    Why aren't the Koch brothers?

It's hard to underestimate the stupidity of this, ad hominem attacks notwithstanding.

Because, yeah, people who criticize the system aren't allowed to make money from their intellectual efforts, while the people who actually destroyed the economy, get to live in their ten million dollar houses, and continue to fleece the system are bullet-proof.

    Irony, indeed.

He's not willing to pay more taxes; he's willing to say he is. He knows the tax laws won't change significantly, and if they did, he has enough money to get around them. So the difference between the Michael Moores and Warren Buffets of the world and the Koch Brothers of the world is honesty.

Sorry, but do the two of you actually know Moore's intent?
