Don't worry, FOX Sports will rush out a special 2-hour edition of "Beyond the Glory" and hire Irvin as a regular on BDSS. Never enough bojanglers on the Faux.

Bubbler, bless your heart. My old man got me hooked on Shaft when I was a pre-teen in the early 90's.

The best line is Willie before Shaft and Ben walks into Bumpy's office.

Willie: "Listen, Snow White. You and me are goin' to tangle sooner or later. Did you hear what I said?"

Shaft: "Why don't stop playin' with yourself, Willie. You not goin' to do shit!"

No John Thompson-style racist twaddle can trump the straight skinny regarding this situation.

Without Irvin riding shotgun through the mean-streets of Bristol, will Boo-Yah Boy ever get laid again?

    hey Roski:

Irving is O.K. with it. He wants to do other projects that ESPN objected to. Word is his personality was TOO BIG for Berman and was TAKING OVER the set. Now he's free to link up with "others" to do what he wants.

That paster of his got him "prayed up"

Wasn't Philly the place that had and in-stadium jail and courtroom to deal with all the drunks and troublemakers?
    I seem to recall that.
And I don't care that Irvin is gone from ESPN, I don't watch ESPN so I don't have any reason to complain about him.
