I remember a few years ago, when the local school playing for the Section football title, the marketing folks had "Podunk wins!" rack cards made up before the Friday night game. Well, Podunk lost, and, the first thing I though to do when I got back to the office (and I got the feeling back in my fingers) was to tell the paginator on duty, "Steph, tell circulation NOT to use those rack cards!"

Sorry, can't help myself: It's not "third world addition" but (obviously) "Third World edition."

Any chance Lebron paid for the ad to run to make himself feel better about the loss?

    Two thoughts:
    1. At least they didn't write a lead news story accusing Dirk of wearing an illegal Q-Ray bracelet on his shooting wrist.
    2. How many copies will LeBron's yes-men buy, frame and hang around his entertainment room?

The Q-Ray fiasco --- still one of the more amazing screw-ups in history. Was that committed under the current sports editor or previous guy?
