Not that I frequently look to defend one Donald J. Trump, but that seems ... fine?

 

It's just boilerplate that any President would say/tweet. It's normal, which is why it stands out.

 

Death toll is at 119 and changing like every 10 minutes. Probably will be a miracle to stay under 1,000

 

The people who shot those videos had to know or at least suspect that the buildings were about to collapse.

 

He had to say something and the low bar Trump has set for himself with the media will work to his benefit in this case. He didn't fuck it up! Yay!

 

And on the anniversary of the 1985 8.0 quake that killed thousands in Mexico City.

 

He didn't call out the druggies and rapists, though. Weird.

 

Does it just seem like it to me because we don't have the running tally on the politics thread right now, or has he actually been stepping in it less frequently lately?
