I just posted it because in the midst of all the back-slapping for Whitlock it seemed appropriate to post a guy who wrote basically that Whitlock is just as guilty as opportunism and grand standing as the people he is pointing the fingers at....

Seems these columns are a little hypocritical to me. And let me go on record as saying I'm black, love rap and I'm not experiencing even the slightest feeling of "self hatred."

 

i'm a huge tech n9ne fan. he's my favorite rapper. period. just like most of my other favorite rappers, he's written and recorded many rap songs that i do not like and think are unhealthy.

I'm sorry I forgot the headline "Whitlock is nothing more than an opportunist" is difficult for some to comprehend.

 

which I might add, is a point of view I don't neccesarily agree with. It was just to show there are some who aren't as enamored with Jason's works.

 

I saw the headline when I read it. Just thought the column was poorly reasoned, constructed and didn't say much of note. Nothing personal.

And for the record, I'm not a Whitlock supporter or basher. Just a reader who has sat next to him in the box and on the media shuttle back to the hotel from time to time. ;D
