Anyone ever ridden on Megabus? I was thinking of trying it this summer. But all their US sites are down. Did they go out of biz?

No, but if you find a Chinese bus line and you don't mind traveling overnight and saying a lot of prayers, do it. Norfolk --> New York for $60 round-trip, eight hours each way. Just keep your Coke near you, in case someone tries to put pee-pee in it as some sort of joke.

I had never heard of Megabus before, either. From Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megabus) it sounds like a nicer version of those Chinatown buses.

Guy took one from here (undisclosed location) to Chicago, very cheap. He said it was great. I prefer to drive myself if I'm going to be on the road, tho.
