I'll move to Minnesota and vote for Rosie.

Ventura was always the bad half of the East-West Connection with Adrian Adonis.

Is Ventura gonna Grab Them Cakes?

Or will Ventura give the Minnesota competition a Piledriver?

I always figured Ventura was just elected because a bunch of people figured they'd make a joke vote, then woke up the next morning and tried to gnaw their own arm off.

Deskslave, with all due respect, you are very wrong.

Most people who voted for Jessie liked what he said during the campaign and figured he was much better than the other two candidates.

Fair enough. I assume one term was enough, though? :)

    Depends who you ask.

Ventura didn't run for a second term, but I know several people who would have voted for him again.

And I know several people who have already said they'd vote for him if he runs for Senate.

I thought he lived in Mexico now.

I would just to see her ground some other senator attempting to filibuster a bill to death.

Forgive my ignorance of Minnesota politics, but does his presence in the race help or hurt one or the other of the established candidates? Or does he tend to pull votes from both sides?

You gotta figure if ever there was a year for a well-known outsider to come along and pick off a seat from the larger parties, this might be the one.

It'll hurt both Al Franken (DFL) and Norm Coleman (R). It would be an extraordinarily tight race.

And even though the polls say otherwise, I think he would have a legit shot at winning, just like 10 years ago.

Part of me would like to see it happen, because if he came to my area, it's a very good bet that I'd be covering it and I would love the chance to read him the riot act if he pulled his "all media are jackals" bull sh*t with me.

    Then she'd ground him.
