    McCain is simply trying to reassure conservatives that he can be as big of an idiot as they are. Jones' profile of him made him appear to have common sense, which of course would hurt his chances in primaries. Relax, once he has tricked conservatives into believing he is swinging to the right, he will revert to being the real McCain.
