    This will be the subject of Christine Brennan's next column. When the news of this came out Saturday, it was under the category NCAAW on ESPN's bottom score line.

    Don't know how long you've been out, Alley, but the "new breed" of MREs are pretty damned tasty. No more beef frankfurters, omlette with ham or any of that old nasty shit.

    Now, it's pasta primaverra (sp?), jambalaya, a variety of vegetarian menus and other goodies.

    But, they've kept the old standbys like beef stew and tuna with noodles.

    Someone needs to splain this to the WWL then. The sports ticker reads "NCAAB" not "NCAAM"
