Eh, when people heard about some of the ingredients in a McRib, it didn't stop the stampede. A couple of photos isn't going to be much of a deterrent.

I saw a commercial for a new sandwich at Burger King. A thinly sliced grilled piece of pork, with BBQ sauce, pickles and onions on a hamburger bun for a buck. Surely not healthy eating, but gotta be better than a McRib across the board.

Going by BK to try one of those is on the "to do" list this afternoon. I'm not a McRib guy, but the Burger King version looks somewhat appealing.

That is 1000 times more appetizing than the real things.

I'm so glad this thread was resurrected and that I clicked on it again.

'Processed Bread Food' is a great title for a song.

Sometimes I forget how funny I am.

I had the BK version the other day and couldn't really notice that much of a difference, except for the shape of it.

We had some BK barbecue this summer in Colorado after one of my nephew's ball games. They were doing some test run of things like a pulled pork sandwich. My mom ordered the McRib equivalent (which looked something like the rib sandwich they're promoting), took one bite and then went back up to the counter and returned with a Whopper.

Hilarious how they make the actors in the BK commercial hold the sandwich with two hands. It ain't that big, and faking it just points that out in a flash. MARKETING!

Yeah, it was okay. I'd put it in front of the McRib, because of BK's grill, vs. McD's stove, but there isn't a ton of difference in the two.
