President Obama and the Department of the Interior will officially change the name of Mount McKinley, North America's tallest mountain, to Denali.

Obama renames Mount McKinley as Denali on eve of Alaska trip

This isn't that big of a controversy, even if it is a bit of a PR stunt. It's called Denali locally, Alaska's congressional delegation has been pushing for the name change for 40 years, and most of the state's top politicians seem to be on board with it soooo ... ho-hum.
Should be fun to see how unilaterally renaming mountains is received on the right side of the country, though.

If you live in Alaska, you live in the state of Denali.

Those Denalis should go back where they came from and stop coming to America and stealing our jobs.

This is no more of a unilateral renaming than when it got the McKinley name. It was known as Denali long before some politicians in DC decided to give it a new name without bothering to ask the people of Alaska for their opinion on the matter. If they changed it once I see no offense in changing it again.
