    Not until Pete Rose comes clean will our long national nightmare be over. Who care's about McGwire? He probably had to admit to come clean if he wanted to put on a Cards uniform again.
    It still won't get him into Cooperstown without a ticket.

    MLB didn't control everything happening in town around it. He could have been at Hrabosby's bar signing autographs. But McGwire was completely MIA.

    He's been MIA since he retired. At least he wasn't making a Pete Rose freak show of himself.

    Had he showed up Hrabosky's to sign autographs, the Cards fanbois would have been lined for a mile
