I am on board with this. I don't think Rubio is sophisticated enough yet. He's be good as VP candidate, I think, even though I don't agree with a lot of what he says.

John Edwards doesn't see the problem.

Rubio has more experience now than Obama had when he won the presidency.

I can't argue that, and depending on the alternative, he still might get my vote down the line. But I don't think he's really ready.

I can't think of one single Republican in the House short of Paul Ryan with enough appeal to get his or her party to unite just for a speakership vote. Scalise? Puh-leeze.

Boehner finishes this term. After that, if the GOP still holds the House, it's an all skate.

Trump is the reason McCarthy pulled out (no pun intended) the same way I am responsible for Bumgarner throwing a fastball to strike someone out. Just because I happen to say while sitting in the stadium doesn't mean Posey heard me and threw down the index finger.

What a bunch of armchair quarterbacks (sorry AQB). Every one of them knows just how to run Congress and the nation until they have a chance to do it.

But many of us are not, I think was his point.

I didn't mean politically or morally or what have you. I meant comedically.
