MBB recruit says no to Baylor...because of school colors

Kid from Little Rock doesn't like green and gold, so he's not going to Baylor. Also doesn't like Rick Barnes at Texas, and doesn't know the name of the head coach at Missouri, which was also recruiting him.

Calipari should be all over this kid.

 

Umm, you realize that link is from September, 2011? And, for the record, this kid did indeed end up choosing Calipari and Kentucky.

 

I'm sure someone here will remember who it was, but I'm pretty sure North Carolina lost a top 10 recruit a few years back because he couldn't wear his HS number. It had either been retired or someone else had it.

 

If you play for Coach Cal, there certainly is the opportunity for both green and gold.
