Former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield charged with possessing meth, the same drug he denied using a few years ago when he failed a drug test.

I thought NASCAR drivers were supposed to be rebels before the racing career, not during.

There are actually knuckleheads saying this. While I do not in any way put it past NASCAR to come up with findings of their choice in a drug test or something similar, I'm pretty sure they don't have meth ninjas that break into people's houses and plant it for the cops to find.

  7. Yes there are .. Including knuckleheads who post here ...

There was about a five-minute period when ALL this started when I thought maybe he wasn't batshit insane.

I'm now convinced he is, in fact, batshit insane.

Here is a post from some woman on a web site

"If some of these media hounds really want a story, why don’t they insist that Brian France’s divorce papers become public….now that would really be a great story. Instead of spending so much time trying to bring Jeremy Mayfield down, why not go after Brian France.
I guess its just too much money going around, huh????"

Well, maybe because arrests are public record and divorces aren't (that I know of). What does Brian France's divorce have to do with him being a clown that has killed the sport?

I knew he was batshit insane at Daytona media day in 2009, when he tried to convince reporters he could run a viable race team and still make a profit, even if he failed to qualify for races.

What year was it he had to get out of the car because he couldn't physically finish the race?

Think he was driving for Yates at the time?

    That was him, right?
