For the three people here that noticed, the new Matt Mays album was released today. I've listened to it a few times through and it is quickly growing on me. I was really turned off by his last experimental album, "When the Angels Make Contact," but this is definitely a return to "Cocaine Cowgirl" era Mays. Highlights for me have to include the title track, "Terminal Romance," a sweeping 7+ minute song with tremendous Springsteen influences. This is probably the best song on the album, combining what Mays does best with a creative new direction.

For those that haven't heard of him, I would suggest checking it out. If you like Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, you will probably find something enjoyable here.
