Phil at +6 through 14. Ernie at +6 through 16. Watson shot a very respectable +3. Tiger even through 5. Rose leads at -3.

I'm not sure he has the mental toughness it takes to win a major.

He might not, but it is the 20th anniversary of Augusta's Larry Mize winning it. Or so I've been told.

Touche. But Taylor doesn't have Greg Norman's heart to break.

    Can he break Tiger's instead?

From Ferguson's story: "Only nine players managed to break par, the result of a course that has grown 500 yards and breezy, brittle conditions that kept even the best players in the world on the defensive from the opening tee shot to the final putt."

    What are brittle conditions?

um... slick conditions? I guess that's what it means. If there is no rain, -3 might be the number that wins it.

Tiger will just buy a new one.

Or his caddie will rip it out of a patron.

I recommended changing it to tough or difficult since I wasn't sure what Doug meant by it.

And I think -8 is going to win it.
