This guy wasn't really a winner, but I vote for him for one reason only:



I found it funny how, when runaway slaves made it to Butler's army for safety, you had Virginians whining about him not returning them to their owners as per the Fugitive Slave Act. Um, hello? You seceded from the fucking Union. That means you are no longer under the Union's laws. Why should have Butler given you back your slaves?

The issue is why are you honoring a despicable excuse for a human being like Nathan Bedford Forrest. Especially since he was from TENNESSEE -- not Mississippi.

 

Joe Hooker has some good-looking, well-trained, spit and polish soldiers, I'm telling you.
