Surprised there wasn't a thread on this yet:

Gunmen got out of two vans and began firing at a group gathered on a corner Tuesday night, fatally shooting three people, police said.

The three deaths bring the homicide total for Baltimore for the year to at least 154, according to police news releases. That's an increase of more than 40 percent compared with the same time last year. Shootings have increased more than 80 percent. The city has seen a spike in violence since the April death of Freddie Gray after his arrest. The incident received widespread national attention and sparked unrest across Baltimore.

On Tuesday night, the two light-colored vans pulled to the side of the road and one person got out of each van and began firing, campus police said in a statement on the school's website.

Two vans, two shooters. Sounds like a lot of planning.

Is it too soon to call it terrorism?

If this keeps up, can we finally agree it's time to get serious about outlawing schools in the United States?

Obviously, they are too ripe of a target for gun violence.

Stephanie Useless-Blake says don't call them terrorists. Call them aggravated constituents.

Maybe the university's gallery was exhibiting some of Picasso's edgier works.

What do you mean? This was an organized, planned, mass shooting just outside a center of higher education.

Isn't this the kind of thing we all worry about, and that immediately becomes a national story?

The cable networks haven't gone wall-to-wall, but that's probably because they just don't have people in place yet.

The fact that the shooters got away just ads to the anxiety. Anybody could be next. I wonder how long the school will be on lock down.

I guess this story about United Airlines computers going down is too big a story to ignore.

Did the Hollywood Shotgunner catch a red eye to Baltimore and take part in this one as well?

That dude hopped out of a van as well before blowing the woman's head off (and curiously leaving her boyfriend to be).

These kind of random shootings, where anyone could be a victim, are the scariest.

With two shooters still on the streets, who might be next?
