Mass. prep volleyball coach inadvertently shows porn, resigns

His players started the player. He didn't show it intentionally. He made an honest mistake that no one was going to know about because he wasn't going to show the porn. His players are as much at fault. That's not to say they should be punished. It was an honest mistake and seems like something some parent blew their top on forcing the resignation.

 

Porn on school grounds? He's just asking to be fired.

 

Who watches porn on DVD anymore?

Give the guy the boot or give him a second chance, I think you could make a case for either one. It's unfortunate, but he should have been more careful.

 

He didn't mean to bring it. The story says he brought the DVD player and it was in it. I've done stuff like this with movies and video games before. When I moved up here from SC I discovered I had forgotten my brand new $60 video game in my 360 for the whole move.

 

It's certainly plausible. Just like everyone who has ever been pulled over by the cops has only had two beers.

 

Lessons I've learned from this site:

People who might have done something accidentally are liars, and they should be punished severely.

People who break rules intentionally, even when they have signed pledges to follow them, are "pushing the envelope," and they should get a pass.

 

I don't believe the part about how it wasn't his porn, but I would have let him stay, maybe give him a suspension. Sounded like an honest mistake.

And shit, it's not like the players haven't seen porn before.

 

I took a psychology of performance class in high school. We were doing a class on mission statements so the teacher showed us the beginning part of Jerry McGuire. Of course, he gets distracted and we get to watch Jerry pound the fuck out of that girl for that entire scene until the teacher hears the chick moaning.

Classic. I don't think anyone said anything to their parents or anything. We just laughed our asses off for a while.
