Mass. high school cancels Thanksgiving Day game

    In some places, they've been playing for 100 years or more.

    Same as our neck of the woods. One of the teams in our area a few years back rarely dressed more than 18 or 20 and was a perennial playoff team.
    It's important to keep in mind that these teams aren't playing opponents with 60 and 70 kids on the roster. Most of the teams in their league are lucky to have 25 or 30, including freshmen and sophomores.
