Masked gunman kills Oakland reporter

This is fucking awful. This is one of those times where I wish the entire journalism community was closer ... we should all be mourning this guy yet it got relatively faint coverage outside of the Bay area.

 

Cops have caught the killer, a 19-year-old employee at a Muslim bakery that Bailey had written about before.
Six more are in custody but haven't been charged, yet.

And Bailey was apparently working on story about Your Black Muslim Bakery's recent bankruptcy filing. Apparently they'd had enough of him.
