    He may be a classic compiler, but he has put up some really good numbers -- quietly, I may add. Never was a time where he was without doubt the best back in the league.

    Yeah, you could say he was a quitter. But it has nothing to do with how good he was.
    You could make a case for both of them. But IMO, Sanders was better. And there's nothing wrong with that.

    it has nothing to do with how good he was -- but every reason why he was never a winner. quitter.

    Every reason? That's a little too much. The Lions front office was a big reason why they didn't win. Hell, Barry was the only reason they made the playoffs.
