    Just curious about this.

You don't have to post why or why not, but it would be interesting if you did.

I added one to my finger about a year ago.

At first it seemed a little odd, but I did adjust. Now, I feel strange when I take it off. The only time it comes off is when I play basketball. It distracts me when it clicks on the ball. Oddly, golfing and playing softball were not problems.

Some people might not have one due to a financial situation when they were married, which is understandable.

I haven't removed mine except to clean it in 10 years.

Yes, but I won't say where.

I don't wear it when I sleep or when I'm doing yardwork or work around the house. Other than that I pretty much wear it all the time.

Both times when I was married, I NEVER took the ring off. Ever. They both were scratched and nicked, but I viewed the flaws as part of what I'd gone through in the marriage. Good and bad.

Depends. Who am I talking to? ;D

Actually, mine's on, and is virtually impossible to get off. I broke my ring finger years ago playing that stupid 16 inch softball they play in Chicago with no gloves, and my knuckle has remained swelled up since then to the point where I can't get the ring over it.

Seem to recall I was able to slip it off a time or two over the years in the right conditions (sweaty, warm weather, etc.), but looks like for now they'll have to cut it off my hand...

Yes, I do. Coming up on one year, and there's a huge indentation on my ring finger.

Mine never comes off. I'm not even sure I could get it off if I wanted to, thanks the extra poundage I've packed on since my wedding day.

    The following poll question:
Married guys, are you wearing a wedding band right now?

Becomes this when translated by Dooleyfish:
Married guys, does your wife visit the board?

The only times that I take it off are:

-- the rare times that I lift weights
    -- when I play hoops
-- when I spin the ring on whatever table or desk is nearby

How are you supposed to get laid wearing a wedding band?
