Mark May is a moron

I don't know if this has already been brought up on another thread, or perhaps on the sports board, but I figured I'd mention it here anyways.

While watching the in-studio personalities discuss Appy State's win over Michigan, I enjoyed Lou Holtz sticking up for the Mountaineers and telling people that it wasn't as big of a surprise as everyone was making it out to be. I'm kinda curious as to what his thoughts were before the game.

But alas, that's not why I'm here. I started this thread because Holtz had to defend himself against that moron Mark May, who was completely dumbfounded by the fact that such a "powerful" team as Michigan could fall at home to a I-AA school.

The best part was when May referred to Appy State as an "insuperior" team. Did anyone else catch that?

Maybe we should start a thread titled "ESPN boner of the week" or "ESPN's new word of the day." I seem to recall talk of Steve Young using "resurgence" as a verb a few weeks ago.

    Thoughts?

But suddenly, a new contender has emerged....
Trey Wingo, on SC, talking about the NFC East

"Let's start with the team that finished up the rear..."

I'll still take him over Lou "Stumbling, Bumbling" Holtz 95 percent of the time.
