Mark Cuban vs. Dwyane Wade

    Would there be a doubt in my mind or the mind of any other sentient being? Just because I'm ambivalent about Cuban doesn't mean he's even comparable to Smiley. Smiley's in a class of extreme assclowns that, fortunately for the rest of humanity, is a very limited number.

    Let me get this straight: We're defending somebody for being a poor loser?

    Cuban's considerable financial success shouldn't blind an objective observer to his verbal cheap shots and lack of grace.

    And he is overrated in this sense: Because he's so blunt in a world of chicken-shit mealy-mouth sports owners, we mistake his honesty for truth. Just because Cuban says what he thinks doesn't mean he's more virtuous. Or more truthful. In general journalists - and America as a whole - value personas like Cuban far too much. He's not even close to the best owner in the game.
