Mark Cuban puts ESPN Dallas.com on notice

And I think that's Cuban's point. If you're going to do something like this -- something that I think if done right and aggressively will be very successful -- then don't do it half- or three-quarters hearted. But this thing just started. Heck, it was just announced it was launching not too long ago. So perhaps there's still some hiring that is going to go on yet.

Yeah, it's not like people get hurt at exhibition games ever.

Considering the ESPN-owned and operated radio station owns the rights to the Mavs broadcasts ... this is odd.

Maybe one of those ESPN radio guys can fill in as beat writer.

    (I am kidding.)

From your fingers to Cuban's, Selig's, Nutting's, and God's ears.

Actually, though, I've often thought that Mark Cuban seems like the kind of guy I'd like to work for...

    Hey, Mark?...Mark? You here?

Funny thing is, ESPN Boston has every sport covered--except the Celtics.
As for not covering Mavs exhibition games, that's not the point. The significant coverage is often done on off days.

Is it really NBA season already? Well, eff.

ESPN doesn't cover the NBA in Seattle, either! Oh, wait ...

I'll take 'twitter' for 300, Alex.

I don't think Cuban's looking for beat reporters to do straight up gamers about preseason games. Hopefully, anyone worth his salt knows better than that. His point about having boots on the ground for a media outlet is a valid one.

Typical FOS owner. Whines about lack of coverage, and hides under a rock when something negative happens.
