If we are going to vote on this, then you either need to vote in the thread or via PM for the decidedly unsexy play-in games.

Hoover at 29 and Nixon at 32... interesting

And let me suggest voting for the playin games first, before the second round games...rather than all at once

They use the average ranking. They have GWB ranked twice -- ranked 23rd in in 2002 by Siena, ranked 19th in 2005 by the Wall Street Journal, giving him an average ranking of 21, the 22nd best.

Look at this and then it will make sense.

Dubya higher than a 35 doesnt make sense, but if you're going to use wikipedia's rankings instead of your own seeding or by committee, you have to... but Clinton behind Dubya? Day-um... a hummer is worse than war..

I looked at it as being similiar to SportsJournalists.com March Madness -- using total posts doesn't come close to quantifying quality of posters, but is as good of an arbitrary way of seeding as we had. Doing it by committee would be darn near impossible -- there would be no way to come to a consensus and trying to seed W might have brought everyone to blows. So I went with the best ranking system I had.

I have no doubt that John Adams will easily move into the Sweet Sixteen.
