Why are they suspending him? Too much media coverage?

I have never understood the idea of suspending a player for half a game.

The guy who is citing his sources is a fanboi messageboard operator. My guess is this "report" will turn out to be incorrect and Manziel either doesn't get suspended at all or misses the entire game/multiple games.

The NCAA, to my recollection, has never handed out a "half game" suspension. Don't know why'd they'd do that here.
