Manslaughter or natural causes?

What if the cop's natural physiology dictated that he would've had a fatal heart attack at that exact moment in time, even if he hadn't gone on a foot chase? Did the chase cause the heart attack? Or would he have had it sitting in his cruiser filling out paperwork? Intriguing.

    Cops want vengeful charges? Nawww..

  4. If the cop can't handle the physical stress of a little suspect-chasing, he shouldn't have been a cop. It's a demanding job.

If I ask you to play a pick-up basketball game and you have a heart attack while playing... am I in trouble?

My managing editor and I talked about this last night and agreed the charges were way out of line...
