Man Walking With Shotgun Near Capitol Taken Into Custody

Some lawmakers and teamsters have been either evacuated or barricaded inside their buildings as a precaution, and the guy's car will have a suspicious package "disrupted" by a water canon.

To which I say, so what? It isn't like he shot anyone. Sheesh.

 

Turns out it was some loon from Virginia, but he drove a truck with Utah plates. In his car they found gunpowder and other weapons, while he was also carrying more guns, a samurai sword, and a crossbow on the street. The situation is all clear btw.

He was arrested maybe only a block or so from the Supreme Court. Turns out the guy had a 2pm appointment with Chief Justice John Roberts. At least that's what he said.

 

Those Democratic leaning teamsters have their building next door. With traffic what it is around here, he probably just wanted to take care of all his tasks on one trip.
