Didn't see this posted anywhere, so if it is a DB I apologize.

Yet another example of how screwed up this world is. So sad.

I hate when children's parties get all stabby.

Good thing it wasn't in the US. He'd have had a gun instead of a knife and killed a dozen people.

The reporter apparently thought it would be cool to include the stream-of-consciousness ramblings of an 11-year-old who lives nearby.

Another young neighbour, Jamie-Lynn Trip, said the killings had cast a pall on her pending 11th birthday party, which she celebrates this week.

"I feel like running away, because I don't feel like getting murdered by one of these people," she said.

"I find it really scary because people are getting murdered and if they're running down and I came out to see what happened, they might murder me."

I mean, come on. This story is tragic enough - the reporting doesn't have to follow suit.

I wonder he wore a dinosaur suit like the one in the commercial?

Wow. I know it's not a joking matter but I thought the same thing at first.

Are authorities looking for the "Hammurderer"?

Guys, on the serious: Not a time for jokes. A mother was killed at her son's birthday party and her youngest two were injured.

    Come on.

    Please argue this, gun nuts.

I do, in fact, love the Hammurderer.

    But not here. Not now.

A woman gave her life for her family. I'd like to think I'd do the same for people I care about, but one never really knows how one will react in a situation like that.

So I'm sorry, and it may just be me, but I don't see the humor in a mother dying in front of her children at a birthday party.

Looks like Canada should outlaw knives.

The anti-gun blather didn't appear as soon as I figured it would. You idealists are slipping.
